A: Baby-soft Velcro refers to a gentler, softer type of hook-and-loop fastener—less rigid and abrasive than standard Velcro. The hooks and loops are designed to avoid newborns’ sensitive skin, and Skadoosies are specifically constructed so that no Velcro ever touches your baby directly. A: Every Skadoosie is made from 100% organic cotton, with no added dyes or harmful chemicals. The breathable, natural fabric helps prevent overheating and irritation. The baby-soft Velcro is gentle and secure, designed for everyday comfort without ever touching your baby’s skin directly.

Q: How do I care for a Skadoosie? Washing, drying, and Velcro care?
A: To maintain durability and softness:

• Wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle.

• Fasten the Velcro tabs before washing to prevent snagging.

• Tumble dry on low or hang to dry.

• Avoid high heat to preserve the Velcro’s hold.

• Occasionally clear out lint from the Velcro to keep it fastening strongly.
